About Us
Michael Cirillo, Ph.D.; ABPP-CN
I am a licensed psychologist, a Level 1 trained Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist, a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist with over 25 years of experience—including extensive work conducting comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations—and a certified psychedelic-assisted therapist. I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Texas-Austin. My work integrates evidence-based psychology with transformative approaches—including IFS, psychedelic-assisted therapy, meditation, and cross-cultural healing traditions—to support deep emotional healing, personal growth, and meaningful change.
I specialize in working with adults ready to move beyond limiting cycles and explore deeper personal growth, whether they are facing anxiety, depression, identity questions, or emotional challenges. I offer a depth-oriented private practice for individuals ready to turn inward, explore what’s holding them back, and reconnect with their inner wisdom and vitality.
My therapeutic perspective is shaped by a long-standing meditation practice and a deep respect for Indigenous healing traditions. I’m particularly inspired by the use of plant-based medicines in ceremonial settings—especially within Shipibo communities in the Peruvian Amazon—where these medicines are honored as powerful tools for healing, spiritual insight, and life transitions.
I believe in each person’s potential to break free from limiting patterns and live with greater clarity, connection, and fulfillment.
Bertha-Elena Rojas, Psy.D.; M.Ed.
I am the cofounder of Aracari Healing and bring over 25 years of experience as a clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist. I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology (now William James College). For many years, I maintained a private practice while also serving in public education—as a school psychologist, principal, and district leader.
In 1998, I founded Humanity Advanced, LLC, an educational consulting firm that supports multilingual learner education, social-emotional learning, and family and community engagement. As a psychologist, my work has focused on culturally and linguistically responsive evaluations and providing psychotherapy to individuals impacted by trauma and the immigrant experience.
In recent years, I’ve integrated cultural and spiritual dimensions into my clinical practice. I’ve specialized in supporting clients navigating infertility, sexual abuse or violence, and migration-related grief. I also developed a cultural humility framework—broadly applicable across settings—that informs compassionate neuropsychological evaluations for individuals who have been incarcerated for decades and are now eligible for parole. My work is grounded in restoring dignity, fostering healing, and honoring each person’s full human potential.
Most recently, I completed a certification in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies and Research from the California Institute of Integral Studies. This has expanded my ability to offer innovative therapeutic approaches that catalyze self-awareness, personal growth, and deep healing.
